What To Expect

What are the services like?
On Sunday morning we understand that your time is valuable. We have designed our service to last 75 minutes. Our service begins with a time of energetic praise and worship designed to connect you with God. Pastor Mike believes in the power of prayer. He has witnessed God’s healing power first hand and in the lives of others and throughout the month will give you an opportunity to receive prayer. Pastor Mike’s preaching style is practical theology. His goal is to share with you God’s word on Sunday that you can immediately use on Monday. On Wednesday night we have a short time of praise and worship followed by a more in-depth Bible study, open to questions and conversation for greater clarity. If you’re looking for a church that is relevant and committed to Biblical truths, Calvary Assembly is for you.
What about my children?
Kids of all ages are welcomed by Pastor Mike in all services. When you are comfortable we have services readily available for kids of all ages.

Ages 0 – 2 Our Nursery is staffed with loving and caring workers. They will care for your children as their own. We have a number system in the Nursery so if we need to get your attention your number will show up on the screen.

Ages 3 – Kindergarten Our Kinder Church starts at 10:30am. Our workers will provide your child with an interactive lesson that will engage them in learning about God. With activities and play time your child will have a hard time leaving.

Grades Kindergarten – 5th Our Kid’s Church kids will join you in service for our worship experience and then after worship will go with our Kid’s Church leader to the multi-purpose room for a service tailored for kids. The goal of Kid’s Church is to create a fun atmosphere for kids to learn about God and be a place they want to attend.

What should I wear?
The dress is casual. Pastor Mike will often wear jeans and a button up collared shirt. It’s not about what you look like on the outside but what God is doing on the inside.
